Report from Paducah, KY

What a wonderful week.  The visitors were great in numbers and attitudes.  We were busy every minute with Demonstrating So-Soft fabric paint and Make It Take It projects.  Everyone wanted to try painting.  It was so much fun to see their faces when the paint just moved across the fabric with no scrubbing.  The quilters love the many colors and lots of Glitter. We are looking forward to the SDP Anniversary Celebration.  Hope to see you all in Wichita.

American Society of Quilters

Janette and I will be on the road again the middle of April.  We are traveling to Paducah, KY for the big American Quilt Show.  We will display Doxies new quilt and pillow patterns as well as all her great shirt patterns.  Deco Art So-Soft fabric paints will be demonstrated and Make It Take it projects will be available to paint.  Come see us in Booth 2500 in the Convention Center.

ALL SHOOK UP

By now most of you have heard about the Earthquakes that moved over Oklahoma. No damage and it really does feel strange. Oklahoma isn’t a state you would think of for an Earthquake. How about tornados in the southwestern part of the state and a rain storm and earthquake at the same time and then later in the evening snow moved into the northwestern part of the state. I think you can say that Will Rogers was right, “If you don’t like the weather this minute just wait a few and it will change.” All in All I think fall is settling in and the colors are bright and beautiful. Enjoy a Happy Thanksgiving Holiday and Celebrate the cooler winds that bring us wonderful leaves to paint.

Business getting back to normal

Well, the email is getting back to normal from its hacking.  We are getting ready to leave for Houston International Quilt Festival.  All the information states LOTS of folks will be attending.  If you are out and about in Houston stop by the booth 1228-30.  Doxie Keller and Cindy Forsythe will be Demonstrating, Ann Johnson and Darla Foreman will be doing Make It Take It projects.  Janette Ward will be running the business of the booth.  We are all excited and can’t wait to teach the quilters how easy it is to paint with So-Soft Fabric Paints.

In the Future!!  Watch for dates for the next seminar with Maureen McNaughton.  Will be scheduled soon.
